The Vineyard Church seeks to be a church where people can connect with God in a way that is relevant and real without all the trappings of religion. God sent His Son, Jesus to rescue men and women from their religious attempts to cover their sin. Through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross, the sin barrier between man and God was removed. To all that believe in Jesus Christ and accept His death as payment for their personal sin, He gives the right to become children of God (John 1:12). Through Jesus we find a personal relationship with God making all of our religious striving unnecessary. In other words, we can know God without being “churchy” or “stuffy.”

We want to facilitate a warm, comfortable atmosphere here at The Vineyard Church. Free coffee and casual dress help people be themselves without pretense or strict formality.

Like Jesus, we seek to reach our generation through a current model of worship and ministry. We exist to reach people that are lost without Christ. Therefore, our methods need to be relevant to their needs. That is much more important to us than upholding rituals and traditions.
