From the beginning of time, God created human beings to live in community, fully connected to our Creator and to one another. As we journey towards this goal of living lives connected to God and one another, each quarter, the School of Kingdom Living will focus on a particular direction: Upward, Inward, Outward.

We have been created to live in an experiential relationship with the Creator God. As we learn what it means to follow Jesus, it is only natural that our friendship with Him grows as our life story becomes more and more entwined with the story God is writing.

Jesus tells us that we are to love others as we love ourselves. Part of the journey that we find ourselves on as human beings is learning what it means to love ourselves, recognizing who we are in Christ Jesus, and understanding how He has uniquely created us.

We have also been created to live lives that are connected to each other. From the beginning we see that God’s original intention for men and women was to love one another and to experience God together in community.

As followers of Jesus, we were never directed to shut ourselves off from the world around us. Instead, Jesus has been very specific in His call, asking all of those who serve Him to be intentional about living their lives for the sake of others in order to fulfill His desire to restore all humankind to life as He intended it to be.
