Immediately following Hurricane Katrina, there wasn’t much need for a church service in our city, but there was an incredible need for a church to be of service to our city. Since then, The Vineyard Church has been transforming into more than just an outwardly focused church into real Kingdom builders. Intersection 4 is the place where the needs and desires of our city and the mandates and desires of our God intersect with the call and capacity of our church in a life of service.

In order to show how important this is to us, twice each year we have a Serve the City Weekend. All weekend services are cancelled and our entire church is sent out to serve our community.

We partner with other ministries such as Mercy Response (Vineyard USA), Beacon of Hope, Save the Lake, City Park, and more. The entire weekend is set aside for us to serve our city.
